the whole or any item or part of any ordinance or resolution appropriating money, but otherwise <br />the approval or disapproval shall be addressed to the entire ordinance or resolution. When the <br />Mayor refuses to sign an ordinance or resolution or p.art thereof and returns it to Council with <br />objections, Council shall not later than the next regular meeting proceed to reconsider it, and, if <br />upon consideration the ordinance or resolution or part or item thereof disapproved by the Mayor <br />is approved by the vote of at least five (5) members of Council, it shall then take effect as if it <br />had received the signature of the Mayor. <br /> <br />SECTION 11. RECORDING OF LEGISLATION; CODIFIED ORDINANCES. <br /> <br /> All ordinances or resolutions upon their final passage or adoption shall be recorded in a <br />book kept for that purposes and shall be authenticated by the signatures of the presiding officer <br />and the Clerk of Council. <br /> <br /> Ordinances of a general and permanent nature shall, after their effective date, be <br />incorporated into the Codified Ordinances of the City, which shall include, in such form as <br />Council shall prescribe, a record of all ordinances of a general and permanent nature organized <br />and maintained in such manner as to be available for public inspection at all reasonable times. <br />SECTION 12. PUBLICATION. <br /> <br />The Council may prescribe the manner of giving public notice of the enactment of any and all <br />ordinances, resolutions or other acts, procedures, statements, including financial statements, or <br />reports required by law to be published or given; provided, however, that such manner prescribed <br />by Council shall include posting copies thereof, for a period of not less than fifteen (15) days, in <br />not less than five (5) of the most public places in the City, which places shall be determined by <br />Council. <br /> <br /> 11 <br /> <br /> <br />
