SCHEDULE <br /> <br /> The Finance Department will begin work on the preliminary assessment report on January 21, <br /> 2002, which will be submitted to City Council at their February 4, 2002 meeting. The official <br /> Notice of Assessment will be mailed to homeowners on or about January 28. The public Board <br />· of Assessment Revision meeting is now scheduled for February 12, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. in City <br /> I-Iall Auditorium. The Ordinance to Proceed for the sidewalk project will be introduced to <br /> Council at their February 19, 2002 meeting, along with the final assessment report. Adoption of <br /> the Ordinance to Proceed is expected to occur at Council's March 18, 2002 meeting. Since we <br /> already have a contract in place, notice to proceed can be issued on March 19, 2002, well in <br /> advance of the April I deadline to honor the existing co~traet. Construction can be expected to <br /> begin in mid April, depending on the .weather, with a completion date of one month later. <br /> Installation of the conduits are expected to take place at this time, also. Installation of the <br /> decorative lamps will be done according to CEI~s schedule, which is unknown at this point.
