This paragraph <br />does not apply to traffic signal technicians (Public Works <br />Department), whose overtime compensation is covered in <br />par lr Ph or to omploy6e who are paid ove im <br />pursuant to a collective bargaining agreement. <br />Traffic signal technicians shall receive time and one-half of their <br />regular pay for all hours worked in excess of eight hours per day <br />and forty hours per week. Traffic signal technicians shall receive <br />time and one-half for all hours worked on Saturday, Sunday or any <br />holiday, as defined in Section :[49.10. <br />Traffic signal .technicians (Public Works Department) who work <br />more than four hours as part of a regular shift assignment between <br />the hours of 3:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. shall receive a shift premium <br />of twenty-five cents ($.25) ~er hour for a I hours worked during the <br />second shift (3:30 p.m. to '12:00 midnight)and thirty cents ($.30) <br />per hour for all hours worked during the third shift (12:01 a.m. to <br />8:30 a.m.). <br /> <br /> 149,05 OVERTTME ZN EMERGENCY STTUATZONS. <br /> (a) A full-time permanent hourly employee who is required by his superior to <br />return to work after the completion of his regular working hours, or to come to work on <br />a day on which he is not otherwise required to work, shall be compensated a minimum <br />of four hours Work computed at the overtime rate of pay. <br /> <br /> (b) Whenever a full-timepermanent hourly employee is notified personally by <br />his division head that he is requiredto be on stand-by duty for the City, such' employee <br />shall be compensated in an amount equal to two hours regular time pay for such stand- <br />by duty, which compensation, sh. all be in addition to any compensation earned by such <br />employee for actual time worKea as a result of being called to duty. <br /> <br /> 149,06 COMPENSATZON FOR SPEC~.AL ASSTGNMENTS, <br /> An hourly employee who is temporarily assigned to duties for which a higher <br />wage is provided by ordinance during any part of a regular time day shall be paidthe <br />regular time rate applicable to such duties for all of the regular time worked' On such <br />da)/, If the assignment continues into or is made during overtime, the employee shall be <br />paid the overtime rate applicable to such duties for the period of such overtime <br />assignment, If, by reason o~f multiple assignments, two different rates of pay become <br />applicable for the same time, the employee shall be paid the highest, <br /> <br /> 149.07 LONGEV]:TY COMPENSATZON. <br /> (a) For purposes of this section: <br /> (1) "Full-time hourly and salaried employees" shall have the same <br /> meaning as in Section 149.01, but excluding elected officials and <br /> directors. <br /> (2) "Year" means 365 days or, in the case of a leap year, 366 days. <br /> <br /> (b) All full-time hourly and salaried employees covered by a collective <br />bargaining agreement shall receive longevity compensation, including longevity <br />compensation upon terminaUon by the employee; pursuant to terms specified in such <br />employees' collective bargaining agreement. <br /> <br /> (c) Effective .June 12, 1995, all full-time hourly and salaried employees not <br />covered by a collective bargaining agreement shall i~eceive, in addition to such <br />employees'compensation established by any other ordinance, longevity compensation <br />based on the number of continuous, full years of service with the City, includirig interim <br />military service, as determined, on _June 15 and December 15 of each year, in <br />accordance with the following scnedule: <br /> <br />Years of Service Compensation Years of Service Compensation <br />5 $250.00 16 $387.50 <br />6 262,50 17 400.00 <br />7 275,00 18 4:[2,50 <br />8 287,50 19 425.00 <br />9 300,00 20 437,50 <br />:[0 312,50 21 450,00 <br />1:[ 325.00 22 462.50 <br />12 337.50 23 475.00 <br /> <br /> <br />
