1309.10 ADDITIONAL INSPECTION FEES. <br /> p/a) Whenever an inspection has been requested and the work is found to be <br />~ncom ere or in need of corrections, there shall be charged a fee in the amount of <br />twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each subsequent reinspection. <br /> <br /> (b) Whenever, a special inspection, not a rout ne inspection of work being <br />done under a permit, is requested, there shall be charged an inspection fee in the <br />amount of twenty-five dollars ($25.00). <br /> <br /> (c) Subsection (a) and (b) hereof shall not be applicable to home owner <br />permits. <br /> <br /> 1309,11 OCCUPANCY PERMTTS. <br /> For any inspections made for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy, there <br />shall be charged a fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for residential and $50.00 for <br />commercial. <br /> <br /> 1309.12 REFUSAL TO ISSUE PERMIT: APPEAL. <br /> The Building Offidal may deny any applicant a permit who has outstanding <br /> violations that have not been corrected as of the date an additional permit is requested, <br /> or if past Performance indicates a pattern of noncompliance with an appl cablebuilding <br /> ordir~ance, in the event the applicaton for a permit is denied, the applicant shall be <br /> notified of such refusal in writing, and such notice shall be sent by certified mail to the <br /> aPpliCant at the address of the app cant, as set forth in the application for a permit. The <br /> applicant shall have ten days after receipt of such notice within which to appeal the <br /> refusal Such appeal shall be perfected by filing a wrtten notice of apPeal with the <br /> Director of Public Safety. Thereupon the applicant shall have not less than ten days <br /> notice Of the date and place of the hear ng The appeal shall be heard by the Board of <br /> Building and ZOning Code Appeals or by the Board of Building Standards if such is <br /> existing at the time of the refusal by the Building Offica The Board shall have the <br /> power after such hearing to confirm the refusal or order the permit to be issued. <br /> <br /> 1309,13 AGGREGATE FLOOR AREA. <br /> For the purposes of this chapter, the aggregate floor area shall be the sum of the <br />gross horizontal areas at the several floors, 'including basements, cellars and attics that <br />are at least fifty percent (50%) habitable. All hodzonta d mensions shall be taken from <br />the exterior faces of walls, including enclosed porches. <br /> <br /> 1309.14 COST ESTIMATEs. <br /> Where the permit is based upon cost of the work done under the permit, such <br />costs shall be the actual cost as certified by the owner or authorized representative of <br />the owner, and as approved by the Building Inspector. The Building Inspector may, at <br />any time up to three months after the completion of the work, require the submission of <br />authoritative estimates or actual cost data to substantiate the estimated cost stated in <br />the application, and require the payment of additional fees when it is demonstrated that <br />the actual I:ost of the work is in excess of the estimated cost upon which permit fees <br />wer~ based. ~ <br /> <br /> 1309.15 PLANS EXAMINER FEE, <br /> Whenever the Building Commissioner determine~ that an examination of <br />construction plans by a professional plans exam ner is necessary for the enforcement of <br />the Building Code or required I~y other applicable law, there shall be charged a fee of <br />fifty dollars ($50.00), plus two dollars ($2.00) per 100 square feet, or part thereof, of <br />the proposed structure, and an additional fee n the amount of twenty-five percent of <br />the original plans examination fee for ail resubmittals. <br /> <br />shall be and is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> 1309.01 PAYMENT PROCEDURE. <br /> The fees to bepaid for building permts sha be determined by the Building <br />Commissioner in accoraance with the fo ow ng schedule and shall be noted upon the <br />application when approved for the issuing of the permit. Such fees are to be paid to the <br />Building Department which, upon rece pt of such fees, shall issue the permit to the <br />applicant. The fees to be paid shall be as are provided in this chapter. <br /> <br /> 1309.02 BUILDING PERMIT FEES. <br /> (a) New Buildinqs and Structures. <br /> (:].) New buildings or structures of up to one thousand Fee <br /> dollars ($1,000) of valuation, minimum fee: $1b~/00 <br /> (2) For each additional one hundred dollars ($100.00) <br /> <br /> <br />
