Dever~ Dunn, <br />FitzGerald, Madigan, Seelie. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 52-04 <br /> <br />An ORDINANCE to amend Section 911.02 Charges, of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of Lakewood for the purpose of updating the amount <br />and designation of such charges for depositing refuse, garbage, and other <br />waste materials at the City of Lakewood Division of Refuse and Recycling <br />facility and clarifying the requirements for city residents and city businesses to <br />be exempt from those charges. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, charges for depositing refuse, garbage, and other waste <br />materials at the City of Lakewood Division of Refuse and Recycling facility have <br />not been increased since 1991 and the cost of the supervision and inspection of <br />such deposits has materially increased; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the procedures and requirements for showing evidence that <br />'the proposed deposits originate from personal residences or businesses within <br />the City of Lakewood, particularly as to the types of evidence and the types of <br />vehicles that may bring deposits, need to be clarified. Now therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br />Section 1. That Section 911.02 Charges, of the Codified Ordinances <br /> <br />of the City of Lakewood currently reads as follows: <br />911..02 CHARGES <br /> <br />(a) Residents of the City and owners of businesses situated in <br />the City who bring refuse, garbage and other waste materials <br />arising out of the use of their place of residence or business to the <br />Lakewood incinerator in their own passenger cars and station <br />wagons may make use of the incinerator without charge. <br /> <br />(b) A charge shall be made for all materials brought by, for or on <br />behalf of contractors and commercial haulers and by residents of <br />the City and owners of businesses situated in the City who bring <br />refuse, garbage and other waste materials arising out of the use <br />of their place of residence or business to the Lakewood <br />incinerator as follows' <br /> <br />(1) Trailers up to four foot <br />(2) Vehicles bearing non-commercial plates, farm <br />plates,S foot traiiers or more and trucks with a first <br />number license plate designation 4 <br />(3) Vans and trucks with a first number license plate <br />designation 5 <br />(4) Trucks with a first number plate designation 6 <br />(5) Trucks with a first number license plate <br />designation 7 <br />(6) Trucks with a first number license number <br />designation 8 <br />(7) Trucks with a first number license plate <br />designation 9 <br />(8) Trucks with a first number license plate <br />designation 10 <br /> <br />$10.00 <br /> <br />$20.00 <br />$30.00 <br />$40.00 <br />$50.00 <br /> <br />$60.00 <br />$70.00 <br />$80.00 <br />
