<br />(9) Trucks with a first number license plate <br />designation 11 <br />(10) Trucks with a first number license plate <br />designation 12 <br /> <br />$90.00 <br /> <br />$100.00 <br /> <br />Trucks with a first number license plate designation more than 12 <br />shall not be permitted to dump at the incinerator <br /> <br />(c) Trucks and/or trailers with high sideboards may be charged at <br />a higher plate rate as shall be determined by the scale operator <br />on duty to compensate for the extra load. <br /> <br />(d) No refuse, garbage or other waste material arising out of the <br />use of premises iocated outside of the City shall be accepted at <br />the Lakewood incinerator. <br /> <br />(Ord 100-81 Passed 3-15-82) <br /> <br />(e) The Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to establish <br />a schedule of charges and standards for the waiver of said <br />charges in special circumstances, for special pick-up of bulk items <br />to compensate the City for the cost of removal, transportation and <br />disposal. <br />(Ord 9-91. Passed 2-19-91 ) <br />shall be and is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />911.02 CHARGES. <br /> <br />(a) Definitions. For purposes of this section, the following definitions shall <br />apply: <br />"Solid waste" means wastes from residential and business premises <br />within the City of Lakewood as part of the normal waste services or <br />products of the premises, or construction and demolition debris arising <br />out of improvements made to the residential or business premises in the <br />City of Lakewood, but shall not include any type of waste that the <br />Director of Public Works excludes from the waste stream based upon the <br />requirements of law, rule or regulation, or for any other reasonable <br />cause. <br />"Personal vehicle" means a car, station wagon, van or pickup truck <br />that is registered, or otherwise affiliated by satisfactory evidence, to the <br />owner or resident of the place of residence or business. <br />"Satisfactory evidence" means such documentary presentation or <br />other verification deemed sufficient, in the sole discretion of the Director <br />of Public Works or his designees, to show that the origin of the solid <br />waste or the personal vehicle delivering same are sufficiently connected <br />to the City of Lakewood to permit the deposit of solid waste at the City <br />of Lakewood's facility, or to permit the deposit without the charges <br />otherwise provided for in this section, including but not limited to <br />building permits, occupancy permits, reference letters, motor vehicle <br />registration, Ohio driver's license, and such telephone verification <br />procedures as the Director of Public Works may prescribe. <br />
