<br />915.02 CUSTOMER SERVICE CHARGE. <br /> <br />(a) There is hereby established a monthly water-customer service <br />charge to be charged by the Lakewood Division of Water and Wastewater <br />COllection. <br /> <br />(b) The Director of Public Works shall annually set the monthly <br />water cuStomer service charge no later than December 15 of each year to <br />be effective January 1 of the following year; such customer service charge <br />shal,l be the budgeted expenditures of the Water Meters Section of the <br />Division of Water and Wastewater Collections divided by the total number <br />of water bills issued annually. <br /> <br />915.03 HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION. <br /> <br />There is hereby established a Special Homestead exemption <br />whereby water rates charged to homesteads owned by person 65 years of <br />age or older or owned by a permanently or totally disabled persón, <br />provided that such person's income falls below the income criteria as <br />established by Ohio R.C. 323.152 and amendments thereto, shall be <br />seventy percent (70%) of the water rate established pursuant to this <br />chapter. <br /> <br />shall be and is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />915.01 ESTABLISHMENT OF RATES. <br /> <br />The Director of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to <br />establish water rates charged monthly by the Lakewood Division of Water <br />and Wastewater Collections as follows: <br /> <br />(a) Effective January 1, 2006, all water used during each one <br />month billing period shall cost not more than three and eighty-five <br />hundredths dollars ($3.85) per one hundred cubic feet of water. <br /> <br />(b) Effective January 1, 2007, all water useçl during each one <br />month billing period shall cost not more than four and eight hundredths <br />dollars ($4.08) per one hundred cubic feet. <br /> <br />(c) Effective January 1, 2008, all water used during each one <br />month billing period shall cost not more than four and thirty-one <br />hundredths dollars ($4.31) per one hundred cubic feet. <br /> <br />915.02 CUSTOMER SERVICE CHARGE. <br /> <br />There is hereby established a monthly water-customer service <br />charge to be charged by the Lakewood Division of Water and Wastewater <br />Collection as follows: <br /> <br />(b) Effective January 1, 2006, the monthly customer service charge <br />shall be $1.50 <br /> <br />(c) Effective January 1,2007, and thereafter, the monthly customer <br />service charge will be $0 <br />
