BE :IT ORDA.[NED BYTHE C~TY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Ordinance No. 56-05, adopted July 18, 2005, currently <br />reading as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1; That the Mayor, on behalf of the City, to enter into <br />agreements with the Cuyahoga Housing Consortium (`'Consortium'9 <br />and/Or the Cuyahoga County Department of Development and Lakewood <br />Senior Citizens, inc. for participation the U.S. Department of Housing and <br />Urban Development (HUD) HOME Program ("Program") in an amount not <br />to exceed One Hundred Eighty-Four Thousand Dollars ($184,000) for use <br />in renovations for ADA compliance, conversion of existing efficiency units <br />to one bedroom units and any other use that the Consorfium finds is <br />consistent with the HOME Program. <br /> <br />shall be and is hereby amended to road as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, on behalf of the Ob/, is hereby <br />authorized to enter into agreements with the Cuyahoga Housing <br />Consortium (''Consortium''), the Coyahoga County Department of <br />Development and Lakewood Senior Citizens, Inc. for participation the <br />U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HOME <br />Program (''Program'') in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Seventy,- <br />Four Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($174,800) and CDBG Funds in an <br />amount not to exceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) for use in <br />renovations for ADA compliance, conversion of existing efficiency units to <br />one bedroom units and any other use that the Consortium finds is <br />consistent with the HOME Program. <br /> <br /> Section 2. !rt is found and deter~hined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of the Council and an of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br /> Section 3, That this ordinance is heroby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate proservation of the public peace, property, <br />health, safety and welfare in the City and for the usual daily operation of the City for <br />the reasons set forth and defined in the preamble to this ordinance, and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of at least five (5) of its members elected to Council, this <br />ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption by the Council <br />and approval by the Mayor otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the <br />earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br /> President of Council <br /> <br />Clerk of~ouncil' ~ <br /> <br />Approved:~/~r~,._~-~ob <br /> <br />--H'ayor ~/ ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
