Any vendor may request that such fee <br />be waived by the Director of Human Services provided the vendor agrees <br />to participate with the Lakewood Department of Human Services in <br />providing educational assistance in the programs at both east and west <br />side gardens or another educational program as approved by the Director <br />of Human Services. <br /> <br />727.07 REGULATIONS ESTABLISHED. <br />Ruies and regulations governing the operation of and participation in the <br />Farmers' Market shall be established by the Director of Human Services <br />and shall be provided to vendors participating in a Farmers' Market. <br /> <br />727.08 VENDING RESTRICTIONS. <br />(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to display or offer for saie in the <br />Farmers' Market any produce purchased directiy or indirectly from any <br />other person or a product not prodûced upon land either owned or leased <br />by himself. <br /> <br />(b) .It shall be unlawful to .offer for sale or sell any manufactured or <br />prepàred article in the Farmers' Market, unless the main ingredient of the <br />article has been produced upon the land owned or leased by the producer <br />offering for sale or selling the article. <br /> <br />(c) The Farmers' Market is limited to the sale of food and food products <br />with the exception of plants and fiowers. <br /> <br />(d) Any item sold must meet all Federal, State, County and local Heath <br />Codes. <br /> <br />727.09 REVOCATION OF PERMIT. <br />The Director of Human Services may revoke any permit if there is an <br />infraction of the City Health Code, if there is any health, safety or welfare <br />Issue as determined by the Director of Human Services, or if the vendor is <br />selling products/articles expressly prohibited in this chapter. <br /> <br />shall be and is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />727.01 DEFINITIONS. <br /> <br />(a) "Farmers' Máfket" n'ÍEiàns a location where producers congregate <br />to offer one or more of the following food items for sale: <br /> <br />(1) Fresh unprocessed fruits or vegetables; <br /> <br />(2) Products of a cottage food production operation as defined <br />by Ohio Revised Code §3715.01; <br /> <br />(3) Maple syrup; sorghum, or honey that is not potentially <br />hazardbus, on the condition that the food is contained in <br />displays, the total space of which equals less than one <br />hundred cubic feet on the premises where the person <br />conducts business at a Farmers' market. <br /> <br />(b) "Producer", for purposes of this chapter, means a person who <br />raises agricultural products on land owned or leased by <br />themselves. <br />
