<br />PLACED ON 1ST READING & REFERED TO THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />COMMITTEE 5/15/06). <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />45-06 <br /> <br />BY~ Antonio, Butler~ Demro~ Dever~ <br />FitzGerald, Madigan, Seelie. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE exempting the Regional Transit Authority from the <br />prohibitious of Section 901 18 of the Streets and Public Service Code of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of Lakewood in order to pennit the placement and/or construction <br />of a glass shelter westbound, nearside on Edgewater at Cove <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Ordinance shall take immediate effect upon adoption and <br />approval of the Mayor in order to expedite the process for installing a convenient glass <br />bus shelter on Edgewater at Cove and for the immediate preservation of the public peace, <br />property, health, safety and welfare for the citizens of the community. <br /> <br />Section I. That the Council of the City of Lakewood hereby exempts the <br />Regional Transit Authority from the prohibitions of Section 901.18 of the Streets and <br />Public Service Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood in order to <br />allow fòr the construction and/or placemerit of a glass shelter westbound, nearside on <br />Edgewater at Cove. <br /> <br />Section 2. It is found and detenuined that all formal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this Council, and that a]] such deliberations of this Council an any of its <br />committees that resulted in such fonnal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements <br /> <br />Section 3.
