<br />PLACED ON 1ST READING & REFERED TO THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />COMMITTEE 5/15/06). <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO <br /> <br />45-06 <br /> <br />BY'Antonio~ Butler~ Demro, Dever, <br />FitzGerald, Madigan, Seelie. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE exempting the Regional Transit Authority from the <br />prohibitions of Section 901 18 of the Streets and Public Service Code of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of Lakewood in order to pennit the placement and/or construction <br />of a glass shelter westbound, nearside on Edgewater at Cove <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Ordinance shall take inunediate effect upon adoption and <br />approval of the Mayor in order to expedite the process for instaUing a convenient glass <br />bus shelter on Edgewater at Cove and for the immediate preservation of the public peace, <br />property, health, safety and welfare for the citizens of the community, <br /> <br />Section 1 That the Council of the City of Lakewood hereby exempts the <br />Regional Transit Authority from the prohibitions of Section 901.18 of the Streets and <br />Public Service Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewoöd in order to <br />anow fòr the construction and/or placement of a glass shelter westbound, nearside on <br />Edgewater at Cove <br /> <br />Section 2 It is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this C01¡I1cil, and that all such deliberations of this Council an any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements, <br /> <br />Section 3.
