<br />AN ORDINANCE to take effect Immediately provided It received the affirmative
<br />vote of at least five (5) members elected to Coundl otherwise, It shall take effect
<br />and be In force after the earliest period allowed by law to establish temporary
<br />appropriations for current expenses and other, expenditures of the Oty of
<br />Lakewood, State of Ohio, for three months, January 1, 2007 to March 31, 2007
<br />as provided by Ohio Revised Code SectIon 5705.38.

<br />WHEREAS, this Coundl desires to provide for the operations of the Oty of
<br />Lakewood during the first quarter of 2007 until the 2007 operating budget can
<br />be approved, by establishing temporary appropriations for current expenses and
<br />other expenditures. for three months, January 1, 2007 to March 31, 2007, as
<br />provided by Ohio Revised Code SectIon 5705.38, and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, this Coundl by a vote of at least five members . elected thereto
<br />determines that this ordinance Is an emergency measure, and that this ordinance
<br />shall take effect at the earliest date possible as set forth In ARTICLE ill,
<br />SECTIONS 10 and 13 of the SECOND AMENDED CHARTER OF THE crrv OF
<br />LAKEWOOD, and that It Is necessary to provide for the usual dally operation of
<br />the Oty In that the Oty must record all flnandal transactions within the
<br />appropriate fiscal period, Now therefore,
