The water-containing surface of a Public wading pool shall be <br />light in color, impervious and provide a tight tank. <br /> <br /> (b) Water Su~olv. Water for the pool Shall be from the City water supply. <br /> <br /> (c) Walks. Each poo sha I be provided with a hard-surfaced wa k at least <br />four feet in Width' completely surrounding the pool and drained away from the po01, <br />except Where a fence or wall is placed closer to the pool than four feet, the width of the <br />walk may be proportionately reduced. <br /> (d) Cleanliness of Poor and Environs Each Po0 shal be provided with a <br />complete water redrculating system consisting of circulating pumps, float va ve control <br />on water supply, hair and lint catcher, chlorinator and piping connections to inlets and <br />outlets; except that no recirculating system need be provded When a public wading <br />pool is drained and thoroughly cleaned at least once every second day of actual use. <br /> <br /> 1721.30 FAMILY WADING POOLS, <br /> (a) Portable WadJna Pools. <br /> Haterial. The water-containing surface of a portab e wad ng poo <br /> shall 1~' impervious and provide a tight tank, smooth and easily <br /> cleaned. <br /> (2) Water supply. Water for the pool shall be from the City Water <br /> suPply. ~ <br /> (3) Cleanliness of POOl and environs. All family wading pools shall be <br /> drained after each day (~f use ~nd at ail times when not in use. <br /> Before refilling the pool, it shall be thoroughly cleansed and all <br /> sediment and other foreign matter removed. <br /> <br /> (b) Permanent Wadin Pools. <br /> (1) Materials. The water-containing surface of a permanent wading <br /> pool shall be light in color, impervious and provide a tight tank, <br /> smooth and easily cleaned. Sand or dirt bottoms are prohib ted <br /> (2) Water supply and outlets; Each permanent wading p0ol shall be <br /> provided with a trapped 0utlet to the storm drain. Water for the <br /> pool shall be from the City water supply. <br /> (3) .Wal~, Each pool shall be provided with a hard-surfaced walk at <br /> least four feet in width cOmpletely Surrounding the pool and <br /> drained away from the pool, except ~here a fence or wall is placed <br /> Closer to the pool than four feet, the width of the walk may be <br /> propor~onately reduced. <br /> (4) Cleanliness of pool and environs. All family wad ng pools shall be <br /> drained after each day of use and at all times when not n use. <br /> Before refilling, the pool shall be thoroughly cleansed and all <br /> sediment and other foreign matter removed. <br /> <br /> 1721.31 ENFORCErflENT. <br /> No persOn, firm or corporation owning or having the possession, charge or <br />management of ~ny pUblic or family swimming pool pub c or family wading pool, or <br />other artificial body of water shall perm t the same to be constructed, used or <br />maintained unless all the provisions of this chapter and all other laws and ordinances <br />relative tO any public or family swimming poos, pub c or family wading pools, or other <br />artifica bodies of Water are comPlied with. <br /> <br /> 1721,32 ACCESS EQU:[PHENT, <br /> All access ladders and steps not permanently affixed shall be removed from <br />family swimming pools at the dose of the swimming season. <br /> <br /> 172~,.33 PROHI'B/TED HOURS OF USE. <br /> No person shall use or Permit the use of a family swimming pool between the <br />hoUrs of 10:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. <br /> <br />is hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> <br />
