Section 2. That the following rates shall be charged local organizations and individuals for the use of the various rooms in the Multi-Purpose Senior Center: 5PM- 11PM 9AM- 11PM Entire first floor $35.00 $75.00 Large dining room 35.00 50.00 Small dining room 20.00 25.00 Kitchen 10.00 30.00 Multi-Purpose Room #1 20.00 20.00 Multi-Purpose Room #2 30.00 30.00 Section 3. In addition to the rates set forth in Section 1 and Section 2 of this ordinance, the following charges and discounts shall be applicable: (a) Guard service shall be required on weekend rentals and in addition to the rates set forth in Section 1 and Section 2, hereof, a charge shall be made on weekends to cover guard services at an hourly rate paid to such guards. (b) A discount of 10% shall be given to may organization holding nine or more meetings in any one calendar year. (c) Rates for the Multi-Purpose Senior Center may be offset by volunteer hours on a one hour to one dollar ($1.00) ratio. Section 4. The rental of the auditorium and other facilities in the Municipal departments and administration building and the facilities of the Multi-Purpose Senior Center shall be subject to the following rules: (1) Use of said premises shall be limited to organizations whose membership consists of more than 50% Lakewood residents. (2) In case premises, or any part thereof, shall be destroyed by fire or damaged by fire or any other cause. or if any casualty or unforeseen occurrence shall render the fulfillment of the rental agreement by City impossible, the City shall not in any case be held liable or responsible to rentor for any damage caused by such failure to have premises available.
