(b) Effective January 1, 2002, all full-time hourly and salaried employees not covered by a collective bargaining agreement shall receive, in addition to such employees' compensation established by any other ordinance, longevity compensation based on the number of continuous, full years of service with the City, including interim military services, as determined on June 15 and December 15 of each year, in accordance with the following schedule: Years of Service Compen cation Years of Service Compensate on 5 $250.00 13 $650.00 6 300.00 14 700.00 7 350.00 15 750.00 8 400.00 16 800.00 9 450.00 17 850.00 10 500.00 18 900.00 11 550.00 19 950.00 12 600.00 20 1000.00 (c) A full-time hourly or salaried employee not covered by a collective bargaining agreement who terminates his or her employment on a date which falls between the determination dates set forth in subsection (b) hereof shall receive that portion of longevity compensation to which he or she is entitled on a pro rata basis up to the date of termination. (d) The compensation provided for in this section shall tie paid in two equal installments by the Director of Finance as soon as possible after June 15 and December 15 of each year. is hereby repealed. It is found and. determined that all formal actions of this Council concerhing and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements.
