No person shall stand or park a vehicle for a distance of fifty feet on the east side of <br />Mars Avenue at the intersection of Madison Avenue, and for a space of thirty feet on <br />the north side of Madison Avenue at the intersection of Mars Avenue. <br />(Ord. 4830. Passed 4-21-52.) <br />351.11 RUSH HOUR PARKING PROHIBITED. <br />(a) Between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on the south side of Lake <br />Avenue, the south side of Clifton Boulevard, and on either side of Hilliard Road <br />between Madison Avenue and Riverside Drive, no person shall stand or park a vehicle <br />on Monday through Friday. Between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on the north <br />side of Lake Avenue, the north side Clifton Boulevard, and on either side of Hilliard <br />Road between Madison Avenue and Riverside Drive, no person shall stand or park a <br />vehicle on Monday through Friday. Further, no vehicle shall stop on the foregoing <br />streets, on either side, during the designated hours on the days hereinbefore indicated, <br />for the purpose of unloading property. <br />(b) The Director of Public Safety is hereby permitted to establish such other rush <br />hour parking prohibitions within the City aS are necessary and in the public interest. <br />Such prohibitions shall be based upon appropriate traffic studies and upon a <br />recommendation by the Division of Engineering of the City. Such rush hour prohibitions <br />may include standing, stopping, parking, loading and unloading, and such other specific <br />regulations as are determined to be necessary by the Director of Public Safety, based <br />upon appropriate engineering studies and recommendations by the Division of <br />Engineering. <br />(c) Regulations promulgated under this section shall be effective upon the <br />posting of appropriate signage and notification to the Chief of Police by the Director of <br />Public Safety. <br />(Ord. 48-90. Passed 10-1-90.) <br />351.12 WEST SIDE OF ARTHUR DRIVE. <br />No person shall stand or park a vehicle on the west side of Arthur Drive between <br />Madison Avenue and the point where this street narrows, nor on the narrow section of <br />this street south of Hilliard Road. Passed 4-21-52. ) <br />351.13 EAST SIDE OF ARTHUR AVENUE. <br />No person shall stand or park a vehicle on the east side of Arthur Avenue, south of <br />Detroit Avenue, to a point opposite the southerly lot line of the library premises, <br />between the hours of 9:30 a. m. and 9:00 p. m. Monday through Friday, and between <br />the hours of 9:30 a. m. and 6:00 p. m. on Saturday, except that library patrons may <br />park on such portion of the east side of Arthur Avenue during the hours specified for a <br />period not to exceed thirty minutes. <br />(Ord. 89-56.
