Substituted October 18, 2010. <br />more than the standard square footage allowed per sign without <br />requiring variances for each sign. <br />(4) The proposed sign program approvals assigns the sign criteria for the <br />property all tenants must confirm to those requirements at all times. <br />1329.06 ILLUMINATION OF SIGNS. <br />(a) Light sources to illuminate signs shall be shielded from all adjacent residential buildings <br />and streets and shall not be of such brightness so as to cause glare hazardous to <br />pedestrians or motorists or so as to cause reasonable objection from adjacent residential <br />districts. <br />(b) All signs in retail, office and industrial districts may be illuminated. Parking lots and <br />automotive sales lots shall be illuminated in accordance with the provisions of this section. <br />(c) Flashing or moving illumination .shall not be permitted in any district within the City. <br />(Ord. 58-79. Passed 7-16-79.) <br />1329.07 SIGNS: RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS. <br />Accessory signs shall be permitted in the R-1L, R-1M, R-1H, L and R-2 Districts pursuant to the <br />regulations of the Planning and Zoning Code, Chapters 1121, 1123, 1125 and 1127 or the same <br />as shall be amended from time to time. Passed 10-7-96.) <br />1329.08 SIGNS: APARTMENT ML AND MH DISTRICTS. <br />Accessory signs in Apartment ML and MH Districts shall be designed, erected, altered, moved <br />and maintained, in whole or in part, in accordance with these regulations. The types of signs <br />permitted as to use, :structure, size and number for each building or lot shall be regulated as <br />follows: <br />(a) Bulletin Boards. One bulletin board not exceeding twenty square feet in area or five <br />feet in height may be located on the premises of a public, .charitable or religious institution <br />but not less than fifteen feet from a street right-of-way line; indirect illumination shall be <br />permitted. <br />(b) Development Signs. One development sign not exceeding fifty square feet ih area and <br />ten feet in height shall be permitted on the lot which a building is under construction. Signs <br />shall be removed on the issuance of a final occupancy permit or one year after the permit is <br />issued, whichever date occurs first. <br />(c) Directional Signs. Two directional signs each not exceeding two square feet in area <br />shall be permitted on any building or lot, but not less than five feet from any lot or street <br />right-of-way line. <br />Page 23 of 28 <br />
