761.99 PENALTY. <br />Whoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter, including the perform- <br />ance of acts prohibited or the failure to perform acts required, shall be fined not <br />less than twenty--five dollazs ($25.00) nor more than one hundred dollazs <br />($100..00) for each offense, and each day of such violation shall constitute a <br />sepazate offense,. <br />All persons participating in any such violation or failure to perform, either as <br />owners, proprietors, lessees, agents, tenants, managers, superintendents, cap- <br />tains, engineers, firemen, janitors or otherwise, shall be severally liable therefor <br />and shall be subject to the penalties herein provided. <br />shall be and hereby is repealed. <br />Section 4. Section 771.01 of the Lakewood Codified Ordinances, currently <br />reading as follows: <br />771.01 PERMIT REQIJIl2EMENT. <br />No person, firm or corporation shall solicit for or engage in any kind of forestry <br />or tree surgery work for hire for another person, fum or corporation within the <br />City without first obtaining a forestry and tree surgery permit from the Division <br />of Permits.. <br />shall be and hereby is amended to read as follows: <br />771.01 PERMIT REQUII2EMENT. <br />No person, firm or corporation shall solicit for or engage in any kind of forestry <br />or tree surgery work for hire for another person, firm or corporation within the <br />City without first obtaining a forestry and tree surgery permit from the 1-livisiea <br />e€Perrnits Department of Public Works. <br />Section 5. Section 771.02 of the Lakewood Codified Ordinances, currently <br />reading as follows: <br />771.02 APPLICATION FOR PERMIT. <br />Applicants for a permit pursuant to this chapter, shall make application for such <br />permit on a form provided by the Superintendent of the Division of Pazks and <br />Public Groands. The applicant for the permit shall certify thereon that he is pre- <br />pazed and agrees to remove any and all tree branches, logs, stumps and other de- <br />bris resulting from such work from the premises wherein the work was per- <br />formed to a proper disposal site as determined by the City, within five days from <br />the date of cutting of the branches, logs and stumps and other debris which re- <br />sulted from the performance of such work. <br />shall be and hereby is amended to read as follows: <br />771.02 APPLICATION FOR PERMIT. <br />
