761.99 PENALTY. Whoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter, including the perform- ance of acts prohibited or the failure to perform acts required, shall be fined not less than twenty--five dollazs ($25.00) nor more than one hundred dollazs ($100..00) for each offense, and each day of such violation shall constitute a sepazate offense,. All persons participating in any such violation or failure to perform, either as owners, proprietors, lessees, agents, tenants, managers, superintendents, cap- tains, engineers, firemen, janitors or otherwise, shall be severally liable therefor and shall be subject to the penalties herein provided. shall be and hereby is repealed.
