(d) Required licenses.. <br />(1) A housing license is required for each dwelling unit in a struc- <br />ture.. <br />(2) A vacant property license is required for each vacant residen- <br />tial or commercial structure.. <br />(3) The Building Commissioner or his or her designee (as used in <br />this section, "Building Commissioner") shall determine at his <br />or her sole discretion the number of dwelling or commercial <br />units existing within a structure. <br />(e) Issuance.. The Building Commissioner shall issue the applicable li- <br />cense to each applicant meeting the requirements of this chapter. <br />(f) Scope. A license authorizes a licensee to rent a dwelling unit or a por- <br />tion of a dwelling unit or permits a property to be maintained in a va- <br />cant status. <br />Section 2. That Section 1306.44 of the Lakewood Codified Ordinances, License Appli- <br />cation Fonn and Fee, currently reading as follows: <br />1306.44 LICENSE APPLICATION FORM AND FEE. <br />(a) Every application for a housing license shall be on a form approved by <br />the official charged with the enforcement of this Code. It shall state the <br />name and address of the applicant, the nature and extent of his interest <br />in the building for which the license is required, the name and address <br />of the owner of the building, the location of the building the number of <br />looms therein, the number of dwelling units therein, the number of <br />rooming units therein and such other information as may be required by <br />the official chazged with the enforcement of the Code. <br />(b) No housing license shall be issued unless the applicant tenders, on the <br />application form identified in subsection (a), the full names of all adult <br />tenants and the number of minor tenants living in the residential prop- <br />erty as of the date the application is tendered to the City and, if applica- <br />ble, the dwelling unit numbers in which the tenants reside.. <br />(c) The housing license fees shall be as follows: owner occupied condo- <br />minium units -two dollars ($2.00); nonowner-occupied condominium <br />units -six dollars ($6.00); owner-occupied three-family dwellings - <br />twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per dwelling unit or rooming unit; all non <br />owner-occupied one and two family dwellings -seventy five dollazs <br />($75.00) per dwelling unit or rooming unit; all other structures requir- <br />ing housing licenses pursuant to Section 1306.43 -thirty dollazs <br />($30.00) per dwelling unit or rooming unit. <br />(d) For all other structures requiring housing licenses pursuant to Section <br />1306..43, the housing license fee shall be as follows thirty-five dollars <br />($35.00) per dwelling unit or rooming unit beginning Mazch 1, 2007 - <br />forty dollars ($40.00) per dwelling unit or rooming unit beginning <br />
