"Highway maintenance vehicle" means a vehicle used in snow and ice <br />removal or road surface maintenance, including a snow plow, tragic <br />line striper, road sweeper, mowing machine, asphalt distributing vehi- <br />cle, or other such vehicle designed for use in specific highway mainte- <br />nance activities. (ORC 4511.01(QQQ)) <br />SECTION 2, Section 301.162, Highway Traffic Signal, shall be hereby enacted as <br />follows: <br />301.162 HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SIGNAL. <br />"Highway traffic signal" means a power - operated traffic control device <br />by which traffic is warned or directed to take some specific action. <br />"Highway traffic signal" does not include a power - operated sign, stead- <br />ily illuminated pavement markers, warning light, or steady burning <br />electric lamp. (ORC 4511.01(MMM)) <br />SECTION 3. Section 301.19, Motorcycle, of the Lakewood Codified Ordinances, <br />currently reading as.follows <br />301.19 MOTORCYCLE. <br />"Motorcycle" means every motor vehicle, other than a tractor, having a <br />seat or saddle for the use of the operator and designed to travel on not <br />more than three wheels in contact with the ground, including but not <br />limited to, motor vehicles known as "motor- driven cycle," "motor <br />scootee' or "motorcycle" without regard to weight or brake horsepow- <br />er. (ORC 4511.01(C); <br />shall be and hereby is repealed, and new Section 301.19, Motorcycle, of the Lakewood <br />Codified Ordinances is enacted to read as follows: <br />301.19 MOTORCYCLE. <br />"Motorcycle" means every motor vehicle, other than a tractor, having a <br />seat or saddle for the use of the operator and designed to travel on not <br />more than three wheels in contact with the ground, including but not <br />limited to, motor vehicles known as "motor- driven cycle," "motor <br />scooter," "cab- enclosed motorcycle" or "motorcycle" without regard to <br />weight or brake horsepower. (ORC 4511.01(C)) <br />SECTION 4. Section 303.04, Road Workers, Motor Vehicles and Equipment Ex- <br />cepted, of the Lakewood Codified Ordinances, currently reading as follows: <br />303.04 ROAD WORKERS, MOTOR VEHICLES AND EQUIP- <br />MENT EXCEPTED. <br />(a) The provisions of this Traffic Code do not apply to persons, <br />teams, motor vehicles, and other equipment while actually engaged <br />in work upon the surface of a highway within an area designated by <br />traffic control devices, but apply to such persons and vehicles when <br />traveling to or from such work. <br />
