Page 2 -- <br /> <br />Section 2; That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized to <br />cause written notice of the adoption of this resolution to be given to <br />the owner, person in pOSSession thereof or having an interest of record <br />in the above-described premises or to his authorized agent and said <br />notice shall be served by a person designated for the purpose by said <br />Clerk of Council and return made tn the manner provided by law. <br /> <br />Section 3. This resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and <br />safety of the said City and for the further reason that it is immediately <br />necessary to initiate the proceedings for the acquisition of said real <br />property in order to immediately proceed with its carrying out of the <br />aforesaid construction of off-street parking facilities; wherefore, <br />provided that this resolution receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members elected to Council it shell take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: January 6, 1969 <br /> <br /> , Rob~p,,~.
