RESOLUTION NO. 4866 BY: Messrs. Brockman, Graber, Kelley, Usher, Wendling, Magnotto, McBride AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Finance to pay the cost of memberships of municipal employees and/or Divisions or Departmen~ in certain associations for the year 1972, and declaring such memberships to be in the public interest. WHEREAS, Memberships of municipal employees in organizations designed to enhance the operation of municipal departments by the exchange of ideas, information and experience insures to the public benefit, and, WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes mn emergency measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health and safety and for the usual daily operation of municipal departments: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1o That memberships in the following organizations ~ns associations by employees and/or Divisions or Departments of the City of Lakewood are hereby declared to be in the public interest: Academy of Medicine American Forestry Association American Institute of Planners American 3udicature Society American Nurses Association American Public Health Association American Public Works Association American Water Works Association American Society of Planning Officials Building Officials Conference of Northeastern Ohio Cleveland Medical Library Association Crime Clinic, Inc.
