pursuant to §1305.521(k) of.the Codified Ordinances of the City of <br />Lakewood, the Building Commissioner is hereby authorized and directed <br />to advertise for bids and/or enter into a contract or contracts with <br />the lowest and best bidder or bidders after advertisement according to <br />law for the repair, rehabilitation or demolition of said structure, <br />and the City, acting through the Building Commissioner, shall cause <br />said structure to be repaired or demolished in accordance with the <br />decision and order of the Board as confirmed by this Council. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk of Council is hereby authorized <br />and directed to serve a certified copy of this Resolution to Harry E. <br />and Betty K. Reed, Agnes Koontz, Edward M. Janis and other interested <br />parties in accordance with §1305.521(d) of the Housing Code of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor; otherwise, it shall take <br />effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br />Approved :~~ ~/. / ~F~' <br /> - ,,~ <br /> <br />CLERK <br /> <br /> <br />
