Janls, Attorney at Law <br />George Staiduhar, Court Reporter <br /> <br />Chairman Wright opened the public hearing at 7~00 p.m. Legal <br />Counsel Hurman asked Secretary Owen to read the list of persons <br />notified of this public hearing. Hr. Owen stated that he had <br />done two things~ 1) a public notice was printed in the Plain <br />Dealer as required by ordinance and 2) certified letters were <br />sent to the following persons, carbon copied on Thomas Ocking- <br />ton's letter to Walter Geist of January 17, 1989. He stated <br />those persons were~ Edward Janis of Rocky River, Harry E. & <br />Betty K. Reed, Gerald Fuerst of the Cuyahoga County Clerk of <br />Courts, the Cuyahoga County Treasurers Office, and Agnes H. <br />Koontz. Hr. Murman asked that Hr. Ockington's letter to Walter <br />Geist of January 17, 1989 be listed as a part of the permanent <br />record of this hearing. ~ <br /> <br />Chairman Wright then asked for comments from Thomas Ockington of <br />the Building Department. Hr. Ockington stated that the property <br />at 1467 Ridgewood Avenue had been in an abandoned state for <br />approximately 4 1/2 years. He stated that Harry E. & Betty K. <br />Reed were the owners of the property and had since abandoned it. <br /> <br /> <br />
