HARBARGER <br /> MAYOR <br /> <br />Lakewood City Council <br />Lakewood, Ohio 44107 <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />Letter of Intent - Cuyahoga County Solid Waste <br /> Management District <br /> <br />Dear Members. of Council: <br /> <br />Attached for your consideration is a Resolution authorizing me to <br />enter into a Letter of Intent with the Cuyahoga County Solid <br />Waste Management District. <br /> <br />The purpose of the letter is to allow the District to determine <br />the feasibility of a recycling cooperative for marketing of old <br />newspapers to paper recycling mills. It is hoped that, by pooling <br />together the collected newspapers from cities throughout the <br />county, favorable contracts for the sale of the paper can be <br />negotiated. <br /> <br />The county has requested a response by June 30, 1992; thus, I am <br />requesting your favorable consideration this evening. <br /> <br />Very truly yours, <br /> <br />DRH:dm <br /> <br /> <br />
