Tho lack of an inventory system can be a conwibuting factor in traffic crashes within the community. The work encompassed under ~ project will provide ~he Participant with a computer and materials to enter invento~ data of roadway features such as the logging of signs, pavement markings, traffic signals and traffic crash information. Equipment and accessories as needed to complete the road inventory, system ar~ listed b~tow. The model numbers and names shall cons~inue only functional specifications under ~he actual t~'ocuremem. The cost of training, extended warramies, operating and maintaining the federnlly-funded equipment shall b~. absorbed by the community.
