a. Receipts and expenses for the past year. Expenses shall include all <br /> expenses relating to the pool operation incurred by the School Board <br /> including direct and indirect costs. Indirect costs will be calculated at <br /> 4% of pool revenues. <br /> <br />b. Anticipated receipts and expenses for the upcoming year and a <br /> <br /> proposed budget showing staffing and program levels. <br /> <br />c. Requests in writing for budget items which are beyond operational <br /> expenses such as major repairs, replacements or additions of <br /> equipment, furniture or facilities. <br /> <br />d. Any request for adjustment in the appropriate level of pool fees for the <br /> upcoming pool season in order to adequately cover operatiohal <br /> expenses and maintain an appropriate start-up fund balance. <br /> <br />10. Funds in surplus over expenses at the time of the November meeting shall be <br /> held by the Board in the pool operating fund for Board and City consideration <br /> and application to: <br /> <br /> - Capital purchases related to the pools <br /> <br /> - Operational expenses related to the pools <br /> <br />11. The City shall within 45 days of the last day of pool operation or at the <br /> November annual meeting, pay over to the School Board any deficit resulting <br /> from the operation of the outdoor pools. <br /> <br />12. This agreement shall continue in effect until cancelled by either party in the <br /> manner hereinafter set forth. With respect to the period or season during <br /> which the pools shall be operated, the dates of opening and closing of such <br /> period of operation and season shall be as stipulated annually by the Board. <br /> Either the City or the Board may terminate this agreement at any time after the <br /> conclusion of the 2001 swim season by providing written notice stating the <br /> date of termination and giving notice by February 1st of the year prior to the <br /> date of termination as stated. Such written notice may be given: <br /> <br /> a. By registered mail and addressed to the City ofLakewood, Lakewood <br /> City Hall, 12650 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio or if to the Board, <br /> Board of Education, 1470 Warren Road, Lakewood, Ohio or <br /> <br /> b. Personally if to the City, by delivery to the Director of Public Works, <br /> or Director of Finance, if to the Board, by delivery to the <br /> Superintendent or Treasurer. <br /> <br /> <br />
