Section 2: That the City Administration and City Council recognize that the successful <br />award of the EfficientGovNow Grant will facilitate the creation of a Solar Special Improvement <br />District in order to finance, through special assessments, the purchase/installation of solar <br />electricity generafion projects and solar thermal projects on industrial and commercial properties <br />within the Solar Special Improvement District. <br />Section 3: That the City Administration and City Council recognize that the establishment <br />of the Solar Special Improvement District will require separate formal actions of Lakewood City <br />Council in accordance with the governing rules and regulations in the Codified Ordinances of the <br />City of Lakewood and the Revised Code of the State of Ohio. <br />Section 4: That the Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to cause a copy of <br />this resolution to be served upon the President of the First Suburbs Development Council, <br />Lakewood Planning and Development Director Nathan Kelly c/o Jennifer Kuzma, City of <br />Cleveland Heights City Hall, 40 Severance Circle, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118. <br />Section 5: That it is found .and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the adoption of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this <br />Council and that all deliberations of this Council and any of its committees that resulted in such <br />formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements, <br />including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 6: That this resolution shall take immediate effect. <br />Attest: <br />~~~- ~~~ <br />Clerk of Council <br />Passed: ~~/~- e `' ~ 2 ~ ( v <br />. ~ve~ : ~~~~~~ <br />~. , <br />President of Council <br />Approved: <br />Mayor <br />
