DI <br />d. Suggest pedestrian scale lighting style and characteristics including energy <br />efficient options. <br />e. Locate and suggest the style and type of park /pedestrian amenities, to <br />include, but not limited to benches, Hash receptacles, sidewalks, fencing, <br />stairs, etc. <br />f. Suggest options for pedestrian oriented improvements throughout the <br />project area. <br />g. Make recommendations for trees and landscaping. <br />h. Identify how proposed changes could be developed over time. <br />Deliverable: Two hmrdcopies and one electronic copy of prellininary improvements options repot <br />Task Three: Final Concept Improvement Plan (30 Days) <br />1. Prepare final concept improvement plan. <br />a. Based on community and stoITselection from the proposed improvement <br />options in Task 2, prepare a plan final concept improvement plan. <br />b. The plan should include maps, drawings and graphic representations that <br />clearly illustrate the final concept improvement plan. <br />C. The plan should incorporate reference to proposed options in Task 2 as well <br />as include data and existing conditions background information gathered in <br />Task 1. <br />d. The plan should adequately show how the proposed plan melds with the <br />existing waterfront improvements. <br />e. Identify potential grants and or other funding sources for project elements. <br />f Provide a detailed plan for phased implementation <br />R. Construction cost estimates <br />Deliverable: Four hardcopfes and one electronic copy of the final concept improvement plan. <br />Project Meeting Schedule <br />The scope of services requires that the selected consultant work closely with staff and the <br />community in developing this plan. City staff will assist in the facilitation of stakeholder meetings; <br />however the consultant will be responsible for coordinating, administering and making a record of <br />all such meetings. The consultant will budget (at a minimum) the following meetings: <br />• Kick -off meeting with City Staff (Task 1) <br />• Meeting with City Staff prior to stakeholder meeting. (Task 2) <br />• Presentation of concepts to stakeholder group (Task 2) <br />• Meeting with City Staff to recap findings and review revised concepts <br />(Task 2) <br />• Meeting with the City Architectural Board of Review. (Task 3) <br />• Presentation to stakeholder group of final concept plan at Planning <br />Commission meeting. (Task 3) <br />VI. Budget <br />Lakewood Park Phase I I RPP - April 2013 <br />
