to Council following each public meeting of the task force. The Mayor or any designee of his <br />choosing shall serve as a non - voting member. The administration shall appoint a staff member <br />for purposes of creating public notices, keeping minutes and performing other clerical duties to <br />staff the task force. The Lakewood Community Relations Advisory Commission shall serve as <br />advisors to the Youth Council Planning Task Force with the responsibility to guide the task <br />force in the timely establishment of a framework for a municipal youth council. <br />Section 3. The task force may call subject - matter experts to advise it on matters under <br />its consideration. <br />Section 4. The task force shall provide an update on its progress not less than every <br />three months and shall be disbanded without further action upon final report out to Council, un- <br />less the task force is extended by Council. <br />Section 5. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this council concerning <br />and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, <br />and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such <br />formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements. <br />Section 6. This resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for <br />the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health, safety and welfare in the City <br />and for the usual daily operation of the City for the reasons set forth and defined in the pream- <br />ble to this resolution, and provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the <br />members of Council this resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adop- <br />tion by the Council and approval by the Mayor, or otherwise it shall take effect and be in force <br />after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />�g <br />.f <br />Adopted: <br />es of �nci <br />F <br />Clerk of Council <br />Approved: <br />Mayor (Al <br />} <br />
