ORDINANCE NO. 26 -18 — AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or <br />otherwise to take effect at the earliest period allowed by law, amending Section 121.15, <br />Duties of Clerk of Council, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood in order <br />to codify an obligation to verify training certificates found within the Third Amended <br />Charter. (REFERRED TO THE RULES & ORDINANCES COMMITTEE 4/2/18) (Pg. <br />7) <br />Motion by Mr. O'Leary, seconded by Mr. Anderson to defer. <br />Motion adopted. Communication from Mayor Summers, Council President O'Leary, and Planning <br />Director Sylvester regarding Recommended term sheet for One Lakewood Place, the <br />Mixed -Use Development in the Heart of Lakewood. (Pg. 10) <br />Motion by Mr. O'Leary, seconded by Mr. Anderson to receive and file the communication. <br />Motion adopted. All members voting yea. <br />4. ORDINANCE NO. 27 -18 —AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or <br />otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, <br />authorizing the execution and delivery of an agreement by and between the City of <br />Lakewood, Ohio, a municipal corporation and political subdivision in and of the State of <br />Ohio (the "City" ), and Carnegie Management and Development Corporation, an Ohio <br />corporation (Carnegie "), related to the development of City -owned property at the <br />southeast corner of Detroit Avenue and Belle Avenue, and authorizing and approving <br />related matters. (Pgl3) <br />Motion by Mr. O'Leary, seconded by Mr. Anderson to defer. <br />Mr. O'Leary noted that this matter will be discussed at the upcoming special meetings of <br />Council on Monday April 23`d, Monday April 301h, Monday May 7 1 and Monday May 14`h if <br />needed. He thanked Planning and Development staff for making themselves available for <br />Councilmember questions and encouraged Councilmembers to continue to pursue their <br />individual questions to increase productivity of Council meetings. <br />Mr. Rader thanked Director Butler for being available to answer questions on short notice. <br />7 <br />
