In response to a prompt from a councilmember, Ms. Vlach- Lasher explained that education <br />and outreach can always be increased and that there are always residents who remain <br />uninformed despite best efforts. <br />Councilmember Anderson encouraged this presentation to be posted on the City website. <br />Motion by Council President O'Leary, seconded by Mr. Anderson to receive and file the <br />communication. <br />All members voting yea. Motion passed. <br />****LIQUOR PERMITS * * * * <br />37. Liquor permit transfer to Gelatostar LLC at 18401 Detroit Ave. (pg.97) <br />Motion by Council President O'Leary, seconded by Mr. Anderson to file without objection. <br />All members voting yea. Motion passed. <br />* * ** <br />38. Liquor permit notice regarding North Coast Dining Group LLC at 16719 Detroit Ave. <br />(pg-98) <br />Motion by Council President O'Leary, seconded by Mr. Anderson to file without objection. <br />All members voting yea. Motion passed. <br />****ANNOUNCEMENTS**** <br />President O'Leary announced the next community meeting regarding sewer and water issues <br />tomorrow night. <br />Mr. O'Malley announced that he will be introducing a resolution in support of postal banking <br />at the next Council meeting. <br />Mr. Anderson thanked Lakewood Alive for a successful Light Up Lakewood event. He <br />thanked Lakewood Baptist Church for hosting the free concerts at the event. He wished a <br />Happy Chanukah and St. Nicholas Day. <br />
