Icebreaker. Lastly, he mentioned that he is a member of the International Brotherhood of <br /> Electrical Workers. <br /> Ed Tuma— 1590 E. 23rd St. —He stated that he is a representative of the International <br /> Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and provided an update on a windfarm project. He added <br /> that the wind turbines going to be used in the project are going to be made in Cleveland. He <br /> gave insight into the multiple ways that they can be shipped and brought up an example in <br /> Parma where PITT Ohio has a 100-bay trucking terminal. Their building will be 100% <br /> sustainable in energy source. 38 members of his union are working on the project. <br /> Michael Foder— 1439 Riverside Dr.- He stated that he is a member of Lakewood Resiliency <br /> Taskforce and expressed his support for the resolution and thanked Council for its support. <br /> Dr. Kate Foley— 1375 Beach Ave. —She expressed her support of resolution and stated her <br /> belief that Lakewood can be a leader of environmental change. She highlighted the impact <br /> and potential of connecting environmental justice to blockchain technology. <br /> Councilman Rader expressed his thanks to Councilman Bullock for working on this <br /> initiative. Councilman Bullock stated that he was impressed by the community's remarks and <br /> noted that the Blue Green Alliance plan has a great deal of labor support. <br /> On the motion: All members voted yea. Resolution 9082-19 adopted. <br /> 14. Communication from Councilmembers Bullock and Litten regarding alternate July 4 1 <br /> Parade Route. (pg. 38) <br /> Motion by President O'Leary, seconded by Vice President Anderson to refer to Public Safety <br /> Committee. <br /> Councilmember Bullock noted that while construction schedules caused this change that it <br /> was well received by neighbors. He thought this was a good suggestion by the residents. <br /> On the motion: All members voted in favor. Motion passed. Communication referred to <br /> Public Safety Committee. <br /> 15. Communication from Vice President Anderson regarding appointment to the Citizens <br /> Advisory Committee. (pg. 39) <br /> Motion by Vice President Anderson, seconded by President O'Leary to receive and file the <br /> communication. <br /> All members voted in favor. Motion passed. <br />
