16. Communication from Mayors Summers recognizing the Lakewood Community Service <br /> Center as the 2019 July 4 1 Parade Grand Marshals. (pg. 40) <br /> Mayors Summers distributed awards to representatives from the Lakewood Community <br /> Service Center and other parade participants. <br /> President O'Leary made a motion, seconded by Vice President Anderson to receive and file <br /> the communication. <br /> All members voted in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 17. RESOLUTION 9079-19 - A RESOLUTION to thank Lakewood Community Service <br /> Center for participating as the 2019 Grand Marshal in the City of Lakewood 4th of July <br /> Parade. (pg. 41) <br /> President O'Leary made a motion, seconded by Vice President Anderson, to adopt <br /> Several members noted that the Lakewood Community Service Center is very deserving of <br /> the award and help provide a great deal for many vulnerable people in the community. Trish <br /> Rooney, the director of LCSC, was noted for her extraordinary work running the center and <br /> for recently helping save a number of residents from homelessness. <br /> All members voted in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 18. Communication from Mayor Summers regarding the formation of Lakewood's Complete <br /> Count Committee.
