RESOLUTION 2019-14 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise <br /> to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing the <br /> Director of Finance to sell a 2008 Crimson Fire Truck to the City of Cleveland, without <br /> the necessity of bidding in accordance with Lakewood Codified Ordinance §111.04(a)(10) <br /> in accordance with the Agreement Between the City of Lakewood and the City of <br /> Cleveland attached hereto as Exhibit A. (pg. 108) <br /> Motion by President O'Leary, seconded by Vice President Anderson adopt Resolution 2019- <br /> 14. <br /> Discussion: In response to a Councilmember question, Chief Dunphy discussed how the fair <br /> market value of these vehicles can be determined. <br /> All members voted in favor. The appointments will be finalized on the next Council docket. He <br /> expressed his intent to have the administration kick off the work of the Task Force. <br /> Mayor Summers announced Light Up Lakewood on Saturday Dec. 7h. <br /> Councilmember Bullock announced tomorrow is Giving Tuesday and acknowledged the <br /> presence of Lakewood Alive Board member in the audience. <br /> President O'Leary made a motion, seconded by Vice President Anderson, to adjourn. <br /> All members voted in favor.
