RESOLUTION 2019-06 -A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it receives <br /> the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council,or otherwise to take effect <br /> and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, appointing to <br /> the Human Rights Commission for the three year term beginning January 1, 2020 and ending <br /> December 31, 2022. <br /> President O'Leary remarked on the role of the Human Rights Committee, noting that it has not <br /> needed to meet but stands ready to. <br /> Councilman O'Malley remarked on the qualifications of Daniel Rogan and advocated for his <br /> appointment. <br /> The Committee discussed the demographics of the Commission. It was noted that Mayor George <br /> will have an appointment to make on the Board soon. <br /> Motion by Councilmember O'Malley, seconded by President O'Leary to insert the name Daniel <br /> Rogan into the blank in Resolution 2019-06. <br /> All members voted in favor. Motion passed. Resolution 2019-06 amended. <br /> Motion by President O'Leary and seconded to adopt Resolutions 2019-03 through 2019-06 as <br /> amended. <br /> All members voted in favor.
