Given this, he expressed agreement with putting these resources toward Kauffman Park <br /> this year. <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, and seconded to adopt Resolution 2020-30. <br /> Mayor George stated that was pleased with the outcome of these conversations. <br /> Director Ducu explained to Council some of the difficulties of moving forward with the Clifton <br /> Prado project this year. He welcomed the opportunity for collaboration with resident, Council, <br /> and Planning in 2021 and apologized for not communicating these changes with Council earlier. <br /> In response to questions by Council, Director Ducu also discussed the Madison Park lights <br /> projects. The lights are at the end of their 25-year life, however, they remain operational and <br /> safe. When the City sought an upgrade, the bid received was $100,000 and the project budget <br /> was $60,000. This project can be delayed until 2021. <br /> President O'Malley expressed comfort with putting this project off until 2021. <br /> Councilman Bullock stated that the additional time should allow for the City to double down on <br /> the Clifton Prado Park and create a high-quality public space. He spoke of the potential for the <br /> improvements to lift up the neighborhood. <br /> President O'Malley expressed appreciation for the productive talks and stated that he is <br /> comfortable moving forward. <br /> On the motion: A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas: Bullock, Kepple, Litten,Neff, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays: none <br /> Motion passed. Resolution 2020-30 adopted. <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Mr. Litten to adjourn. <br /> All members voted in favor.
