MINUTES OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE <br /> October 26,2020 <br /> Virtual Meeting <br /> Present: Councilmembers Bullock, Kepple, Litten (6:15 p.m.), Neff, O'Malley, Rader& <br /> Shachner <br /> Also Present: Fire Chief Dunphy, Planning Director Leininger, Community Relations Specialist <br /> Melissa Garrett, Walter Wright, Chair of LCRAC; Colleen Zettler, Council appointee; Deputy <br /> Clerk Lascu, Clerk Bach taking minutes <br /> Call to Order: 6:08 p.m. <br /> Approval of the minutes of the September 30, 2020 Committee of the Whole. <br /> A motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes of the September 30, 2020 Committee <br /> of the Whole. <br /> A roll call vote was conducted as follows: <br /> Yeas: Bullock, Kepple, Neff, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays: none <br /> Absent: Litten <br /> Motion adopted. Minutes approved. <br /> Communication from Councilmember Kepple, President O'Malley, Vice President Litten <br /> & Mayor George regarding Anti-Racism Task Force Appointees. (Referred to COW <br /> 918120) <br /> Communication from Lakewood Community Relations Advisory Commission regarding <br /> appointments to the Anti-Racism Task Force in response to a communication referred by <br /> Council on September 8, 2020. (Referred to COW 10119120) <br /> RESOLUTION 2020-53 -A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or <br /> otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, <br /> appointing (first apointeel (second aointee� , third <br /> a ointee (fourth appointee) and (fifth appointee) to the <br /> Anti-Racism Task Force. <br /> Walter Wright, Chair of Lakewood Community Relations Advisory Commission and <br /> Community Relations Specialist Melissa Garrett discussed the Commission's process of <br /> reviewing the 30 applications to the new Anti-Racism Task Force.
