Clerk Bach reported that she reached out to Council's current appointee, Jesse Schmidt. Mr. <br /> Schmidt was enthusiastic about continuing his service and is seeking re-appointment. <br /> President O'Malley and Councilmember Bullock reminded members of the purpose of the <br /> Board. It was not originally included with the nuisance ordinance and was added for due process <br /> reasons. The Board does not meet frequently, and this is a testament to the success of the <br /> nuisance process. Most of the time the process does not escalate to the point where the Board <br /> must meet. <br /> Motion by President O'Malley to insert the name Jesse Schmidt into the blank of Resolution <br /> 2020-67. Motion seconded by Councilmember Bullock. A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas: Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Rader& Shachner <br /> Nays: none <br /> Motion adopted. Resolution 2020-67 substituted. <br /> A motion was made and seconded to recommend adoption of Resolution 2020-67 as substituted. <br /> A role call vote was conducted as follows: <br /> Yeas: Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Rader& Shachner <br /> Nays: none <br /> Motion adopted. Resolution 2020-67 recommended for adoption as substituted. <br /> RESOLUTION 2020-68 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or <br /> otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, <br /> appointing (first appointee) and second appointee) to the <br /> Community Reinvestment Area Housing Council for three year terms beginning January <br /> 1, 2021 and ending December 31, 2023. <br /> The Committee discussed the role of the Community Reinvestment Area Housing Council. <br /> Council's current appointee, Colleen Zettler was present to express her interest in re- <br /> appointment. <br /> Motion by President O'Malley to insert the name Colleen Zettler into the blank of Resolution <br /> 2020-68. Motion seconded by Councilmember Bullock. A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas: Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Rader& Shachner <br /> Nays: none <br /> Motion adopted. Resolution 2020-68 substituted. <br /> 4 <br />
