A roll call vote was conducted as follows: <br /> Yeas: Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Rader <br /> Nays: none <br /> Absent: Shachner <br /> Motion adopted. Resolution 2020-53 amended. <br /> Councilmember Litten advocated for Sam Pearson and discussed how he has known him for <br /> many years and his background which is well suited to the task force. <br /> Councilmembers remarked that there were many impressive candidates and it was difficult to <br /> narrow the list. <br /> President O'Malley expressed interest in expanding the Task Force by one member to allow for <br /> another council appointee. <br /> Law Director Corrigan advised that the resolution enacting the task force ought to be amended at <br /> the next Council meeting before a sixth appointment is made. <br /> President O'Malley committed to doing that and said that he would contact Wayne Smith to <br /> explain this. <br /> Motion by President O'Malley and seconded to insert the name Sam Pearson into the fourth <br /> blank and Carmella Lee into the fifth blank.
