Multiple councilmembers noted the number of high quality, experienced applicants and <br /> expressed hope that those candidates stay involved and apply for other positions. <br /> Motion was made and seconded to insert the name Sean McDermott into the blank in Resolution <br /> 2020-66. A roll call vote was conducted as follows: <br /> Yeas: Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Shachner <br /> Nays: none <br /> Absent: Rader <br /> Motion adopted. Resolution 2020-66 substituted. <br /> Motion was made and seconded to recommend Resolution 2020-66 for adoption as substituted. <br /> A roll call vote was conducted as follows: <br /> Yeas: Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Shachner <br /> Nays: none <br /> Absent: Rader <br /> Motion adopted. Resolution 2020-66 recommended for adoption as substituted. <br /> RESOLUTION 2020-61 -A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or <br /> otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, <br /> appointing three members and one non-voting Council representative to the <br /> Americans with Disabilities (ADA) Transition Plan Task Force. <br /> Multiple councilmembers put forth names of applicants whom they found to stand out. They <br /> noted the multitude of applicants with relevant personal and professional experience and a <br /> history of community engagement. <br /> President O'Malley suggested that Councilmember Kepple be appointed as Council's non-voting <br /> member to the Task Force, remarking on her interest in the topic. <br /> Councilmember Kepple indicated that she would be happy to accept this role. <br /> A motion was made and seconded to insert the name Sarah Kepple into the blank in Section 2 of <br /> Resolution 2020-61. A roll call vote was conducted as follows: <br /> Yeas: Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Shachner <br /> Nays: none <br /> Absent: Rader <br /> Motion adopted.
