Mr. Papke stated that the city offered those onwers the opportunity to protect <br /> their land and added that it usually costs $1300 per square foot for revetment. He noted that the <br /> owners do not have the funds available currently. <br /> Chairman Rader inquired if whether the house was occupied and Mr. Papke responded that he <br /> believed so. Chairman Rader asked whether the city has a responsibility to intervene, in the event <br /> foundation walls begin appearing through the edge of the cliff.
