President O'Malley withdrew his motion to exclude parklets from Resolution 2020-31B. <br /> President O'Malley stated that Council and the administration should still have conversation <br /> on where to go from here. Mayor George indicated she would support further discussion <br /> especially on sight lines. <br /> On the motion to adopt Resolution 2020-31B: <br /> A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed. Resolution 2020-31B was adopted. <br /> 4. Committee report from Finance Committee regarding meetings held April 12, 2021 & <br /> April 19, 2021. (to be provided) <br /> Councilmember Bullock delivered the following oral report: <br /> The committee met on April 12'h & 19'h to consider the following two ordinances on the docket <br /> and it recommended both for adoption at Council's earliest convenience. One will be one third <br /> reading and the other on second. The first is to adjust the pay schedule for full and part time <br /> salary rate employees. Director Dillinger walked us through it. There are two primary ones to <br /> recognize and it also compensates two professional certifications in the HR track. It also <br /> incentivizes training. Ordinance 22-2020A adds $2.5 million for a total of$8 million in <br /> contracting authority for the IWWIP, and this will come up later tonight on another topic. <br /> Although the contracting authority is up to$8 million, it doesn't mean we'll spend that amount. <br /> The current budget matches these expenditures. The project was planned for last year and was <br /> pushed to this year due to COVID. The committee recommended it for adoption. <br /> Councilmember Bullock made a motion, seconded by President O'Malley to receive and file <br /> the oral report. <br /> A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed. The oral report was received and filed. <br /> 5. ORDINANCE 22-2020A—AN ORDINANCE to take effect on January 1,2021,provided <br /> it receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or <br /> otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, to provide <br /> for creating positions and rates of pay for full-time and certain part-time annual salaried <br />
