(pg. 103)
Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to receive and file the
communication.
Discussion: President O'Malley inquired whether the amount received was on par with what
it had received in the past. Director Gelsomino noted that due to the program being
reimbursement based, some funding diminished last year, as the department was unable to
deliver some of its services due to COVID. However, now that services are open again, the
department is seeing its funding trending upward and Director Gelsomino anticipates the city
being able to reap the full benefit next year. She added that the county is moving toward a
master contract program that should make funding more attainable in the event another
community does not use its full allotment. President O'Malley ifthe reimbursements take place
annually. Director Gelsomino indicated that it is a monthly based reimbursement system.
On the motion: All members voted in favor.
