All members voted in favor. Motion passed. The notice was received and filed. <br /> ***PUBLIC COMMENT**** <br /> There was no public comment made. <br /> ****ANNOUNCEMENTS**** <br /> Director Gelsomino shared that the year's third and final Home Alone Program is upcoming <br /> next week. <br /> President O'Malley discussed the appointment process for the upcoming Ward 1 vacancy on <br /> Council. He noted the body's timeline for the appointment and spoke to the process recently <br /> undertaken when Mayor George vacated her at-large seat to become mayor. At that time <br /> Council received resumes and cover letters from interested applicants. Council interviewed <br /> about half of those that applied and convened on a decision. He anticipates a very similar <br /> process in making the appointment. <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to adjourn the meeting.
