RESOLUTION 2020-30A - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise <br /> to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, amending Resolution <br /> No. 2020-30, adopted May 7, 2020, authorizing and directing the Mayor to submit the <br /> Fiscal Year 2020 (FY20) One -Year Action Plan of the FY20-FY24 Five Year <br /> Consolidated Plan which includes dollar allocations and activities to be funded with federal <br /> Community Development Block Grant(CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and <br /> HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) resources, and any other entitlement <br /> funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and all <br /> amendments thereto and all understandings and assurances contained therein, and <br /> incorporates the City' s application to HUD for FY20 CDBG, ESG, and HOME funds and <br /> superseding Resolution No. 2019- 13, adopted December 16, 2019. (Referred to Finance Committee <br /> 11115121) (pg. 70) <br /> Motion by Vice President Litten, seconded by Councilmember Rader to adopt items 45 - 419. <br /> Discussion: Discussion ensued regarding the effective date of Ordinance 52-2021. The <br /> administration confirmed that the effective date in Jan. 1, 2021 and that the legislation will be <br /> retroactive. <br /> Councilmember Bullock remarked on some of the highlights of the 2022 budget. He thanked <br /> the administration for including all of the council budget priorities in the budget. He suggested <br /> that more Council and the administration work together in 2022 to appropriate ARPA funds. <br /> 7 <br />
