13. ORDINANCE 02-2022 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council amending <br /> Section 109.01 Open Meetings, of the Lakewood Codified Ordinances to allow public <br /> bodies in the City of Lakewood to meet virtually under certain conditions. (pg. 71) <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to substitute Ordinance 02- <br /> 2022. <br /> Discussion: Director Corrigan noted that the substitution adds in provisions for <br /> teleconferencing into the Lakewood Codified Ordinances to comply with Ohio Revised Code <br /> public meeting requirements. Councilmember Kepple added that there were 2 public comments <br /> supporting the legislation. <br /> On the motion: A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Bullock, Kepple, Litten, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed. Ordinance 02-2022 was substituted. <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to suspend the rules to allow <br /> for adoption under emergency declaration. <br /> A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Bullock, Kepple, Litten, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed. The rules were suspended. <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to adopt Ordinance 02-2022 <br /> as substituted. <br /> A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Bullock, Kepple, Litten, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed. Ordinance 02-2022 was adopted as substituted. <br /> ....LIQUOR PERMITS... <br /> 14. Liquor Notice regarding Speedway LLC at 1511 Warren Rd. (pg. 74) <br /> Councilmember Shachner made no statutory objection. <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to receive and file the <br /> notice. All members in favor. Motion passed. The notice was received and filed. <br /> 15. Liquor Notice regarding Lou& Al's LLC at 14724 Detroit Ave. (pg. 75) <br /> 6 <br />
