Vice President Litten stated that City Council would continue its process used in the past to fill <br /> vacant seats, which entails an open call for applications for a small window of time, as the <br /> charter only allows 60 days for Council to appoint. He added that Council would interview a <br /> subset of the applicants in public meetings through Committee of the Whole, and then the body <br /> would make its selection from there. <br /> Councilmember Kepple stated it is National Library Week and encouraged the public to thank <br /> their local librarian. <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to adjourn the meeting. All in <br /> favor. Motion passed.
