The notice was deferred. <br /> ***PUBLIC COMMENT"" <br /> ""ANNOUNCEMENTS"" <br /> Councilmember Bullock stated he and Councilmember Rader have been working with Mayor <br /> George's office on an energy aggregation contract that has been proposed by NOPEC. If <br /> finalized, there is some time sensitivity to the contract. He expressed hope that Council could <br /> pass it quickly in the month of April since the contract has a June 1st deadline. <br /> Mayor George noted that Cove Community Center is opening on Tuesday, April 12th and invited <br /> members of Council to a ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m. that day. The ribbon cutting will be followed <br /> by her State of the City Address at 6 p.m. and an open house for the public at 6:30 p.m. <br /> President O'Malley stated that this meeting would likely be his last Regular Meeting of Council, <br /> however he would likely be at the Committee of the Whole scheduled for the following week. <br /> He noted that the Charter states Vice President Litten would serve as Acting Council President <br /> for several days between his resignation and the election for Council President. <br />
