Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to adopt Resolution 2022-16. <br /> All members voted in favor. Resolution 2022-16 adopted. <br /> 4. ORDINANCE 17-2022 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or <br /> otherwise to take effect and be in force at the earliest period allowed by law, to approve <br /> the editing and inclusion of certain ordinances as parts of the various component codes <br /> of the Codified Ordinances and to provide for the publication of such new matter. <br /> (deferred 4118122 & 512122) (pg. 3) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to adopt Ordinance 17-2022. <br /> All members voted in favor. Ordinance 17-2022 adopted. <br /> ***NEW BUSINESS*** <br /> 5. RESOLUTION 2022-20 - A RESOLUTION to commend Antoinette Gelsomino for <br /> her 30 years of dedicated service to the seniors, youth, and young families of Lakewood <br /> through her inspired leadership in the Department of Human Services. (pg. 5) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to adopt Resolution 2022-20. <br /> Discussion: Every Councilmember took turns speaking about Director Gelsomino's high <br /> character, exemplary leadership of the Department ofHuman Services, and fond personal <br /> memories of working with her. <br /> Public Comment: Cindy Marx— 15 71 Grace Ave. Ms. Marx complimented Ms. Gelsomino on <br /> her service to the City and thanked her for her dedication to Lakewood's residents. <br /> Julia Toke—1682 Park-wood Ave. Ms. Toke shared a personal story of Ms. Gelsomino helping <br /> her as a new mother to the Lakewood Family Room. She thanked her for her service. <br /> On the motion: All members in favor. Motion passed. Resolution 2022-20 was adopted. <br /> 6. Lakewood Heritage Advisory Board 19'h Annual Historic Preservation Awards <br /> Presentation. (pg. 7) <br /> Peter Ketter of the Lakewood Heritage Advisory Board (LHAB) gave a presentation and <br /> awards to the winners of LHAB's 19'h Annual Historic Preservation Awards. <br /> The following residents/organizations received awards: <br /> - Alexandria Rose— 12558 Clifton Blvd. —Front Porch Replacement <br /> - Jeffrey Sierputowski and Deanna Domino— 1313 Giel Ave. —Historic Home Addition <br /> (Payto Architects) <br /> 3 <br />
